The Girls Who Code Pathways Program is a free, virtual, and self-paced summer opportunity designed for high school girls and non-binary students. Over seven weeks, participants engage in hands-on, real-world projects across various in-demand tech fields. Students can choose from curriculum tracks including Data Science + AI (using Python), Cybersecurity (using Python), Web Development (using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript), Game Design (using JavaScript & p5.js), and AI + Society (no coding required). The program emphasizes building purpose-driven tech projects, such as websites, apps, and video games, to address community challenges. Participants gain practical computer science and problem-solving skills, earn certificates for completed courses, and connect with industry professionals and mentors through optional corporate partner events, career panels, and advisor-led workshops. The program fosters a vibrant virtual community on Discord, providing peer support and networking opportunities, and offers insights into diverse tech careers.

What a typical day looks like

Students complete coursework at their own pace, with optional live opportunities to connect through Student Hours, weekly Advisor & Partner Events, and Community Events on Discord.
