Campers get to build multiple custom robots using real components and take one home, gaining a comprehensive understanding of robotics from design to programming.
Kids Explore Robotics Summer Camp offers an engaging and progressive learning path for children aged 6 and up, focusing on hands-on robotics and coding. Campers will build and program multiple robots using real components like microcontrollers, motors, LEDs, and sensors. The curriculum emphasizes understanding how these components work together, fostering critical thinking, problem-solving, and creativity. Students will learn beginner-friendly coding to make their robots move, light up, and interact, with opportunities to experiment and troubleshoot. The camp aims to build confidence and provide a deeper understanding of robotics concepts, culminating in campers taking home a fully functional custom robot.
A typical day involves hands-on robot building with expert guidance, beginner-friendly programming challenges, creative problem-solving, and group discussions to foster collaboration and idea sharing.
This camp is best for kids aged 6 and older who are curious about robotics and coding, enjoy hands-on activities, and want to develop problem-solving and creative thinking skills.
