High Touch High Tech brings the science lab directly to various locations, offering 100% hands-on, participatory science experiences led by degreed professionals.
Science Made Fun Sizzlin' Summer Camps, offered by High Touch High Tech of Dallas, provide hands-on science experiences for children. The programs are designed to transform classrooms into interactive laboratories where students become real scientists. Campers engage in a variety of experiments across different scientific disciplines, fostering curiosity and a love for STEM. Activities include examining dinosaur fossils, creating edible molecules, making slime, exploring electricity by building circuits, and investigating weather phenomena like tornadoes. The camps aim to develop confidence, problem-solving, critical thinking, teamwork, communication skills, creativity, and academic reinforcement. Several programs also include take-home materials for continued learning.
A typical day involves instructor-led hands-on experiments, with additional time for free exploration of science equipment and gadgets.
This camp is best for elementary-aged children (4-12 years old) who enjoy hands-on activities and have a natural curiosity for scientific discovery.
