The SMU Lyle School of Engineering Advanced Engineering Summer Program is designed for rising 9th and 10th-grade students who have prior experience with engineering, design, or integrated STEM programs. A typical day runs from 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, and includes curriculum and projects, all project materials, lunches and snacks, and mentorship from SMU Lyle Engineering students and DFW college Science & Engineering students.
